Obituary for Arthur W. "Bud" Butler

Arthur W. "Bud" Butler, age 83, formerly of Toledo, passed away Monday, June 4, 2018 in New Carlisle, Ohio. He was born February 5, 1935 to Arthur and Alice (Feltis) Butler in Toledo. Arthur proudly served his country for 8 years in the US Marine Corps and was a member of the former VFW Post 3265, American Legion Post 110 and AMVETS. He was employed by Mazda for 20 years. Bud was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and camping.
Arthur is survived by his daughters, Jane Schill and Sally Butler; son, Curtis (Brenda Gail) Butler; sister, Violet Reams; 6 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Barbara Butler; daughter, Gail Butler; and sister, Mary Bigelow.
Family and friends may visit Thursday, June 7 from 2-8 pm at David R. Jasin-Hoening Funeral Home , 5300 N. Summit St. Toledo, Ohio. The Funeral Service for Bud will be held Friday, June 8 at 11 am in the funeral home with Pastor Bill Milton officiating. Services will conclude with interment in Toledo Memorial Park.
Memorial tributes may be given to the American Cancer Society.
