Obituary for Joann Pitts

JoAnn Pitts, 62, of Fostoria, and formerly of Clearwater, Fla., passed away on Monday, June 18, 2018 at her home.
She was born December 27, 1955 in Logan, W. Virginia to Homer and Delcie (Frye) Knipp. She married Roger Pitts and he preceded her in death on April 3, 2001.
JoAnn is survived by three daughters, Angela Marcum, of Fostoria, Rebecca (Roger Smith) Marcum, of Hudson, Florida, and Kimberly (Aaron) McCracken, of Clearwater, Florida; six grandchildren, Andrew Barthalow, Robin Marcum, Anthony Arriaga, Jenna Belcher, Josiah Belcher, and Ryan Smith; seven great-grandchildren; siblings, Rose Alcala, of Clearwater, Florida, Victoria Martin, of Charleston, W. Virginia, Brenda Williams, of Danville, W. Virginia, Tommy Knipp, of Inverness, Florida, Sarah Hewlett, of Inverness, Florida, and Jerry Knipp, also of Inverness, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two grandchildren, Corinna Marcum and James Belcher, and siblings, Homer Knipp Jr, Howard Knipp, Virgil Knipp, Nellie Marie Knipp, and Jimmy Knipp.
A homemaker, JoAnn was a very loving and caring woman who would do anything for anyone. She enjoyed her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and doing crafts.

Memorial services will take place on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 416 S. Arch St., in Fremont.
