Obituary for Mary Lou Buchele (nee DiPofi)

Mary Lou Buchele (nee DiPofi), 82, of Columbus, formerly of Toledo, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, OH. She was born on June 29, 1935 to Angelo and Santina (Malizia) DiPofi.

Mary was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. She worked at former Rowe Nursery School where she would cook lunch for 100 kids. She was also employed by National Biscuit Company as an office worker.

Left to cherish Mary's memory are her children, Michael, Mark (Carla), Kenneth, and Karen Buchele; 11 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Kenneth, Sr.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the David R. Jasin-Hoening Funeral Home, 5300 N. Summit St., Toledo, OH 43611. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on the same day at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 5153 N. Summit St., Toledo, OH 43611. Father David Cirata will be officiating. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 5725 Hill Ave., Toledo, OH 43615.
