Obituary for Mary Lou Hiser

Mary Lou Hiser, 70, of North Baltimore, Ohio, passed away Sunday, June 17, 2018 at home. She was born on July 13, 1947 to the late Woodrow H. and Blanche (Blohm) Bishop of North Baltimore, Ohio.
Mary Lou was a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Findlay College, and received a Certification in Special Education from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She pursued her life-long passion for elementary education and retired after 30 years of teaching.
She was an avid reader herself, and enjoyed reading to, and educating children.
On November 21, 1987, she married William D. Hiser and loved his children, Bill (Kerstin) Garry (Julie), and Angelique (Charles) Hall, and grandchildren, Will, James, Brandon, Kylie, Cassidy, Ava, Sarah (Rory) Campbell, and Tyler as her own.
She is survived and cherished by her husband, Bill, children and grandchildren; a brother and his wife, David and Sandra (Essex)Bishop; a sister and her husband, Carol and Paul Albin; and by many nieces and nephews. Mary Lou is also preceded in death by a brother and his wife, James and Leota (Stahl) Bishop.
Mary Lou loved Jesus with her whole heart, mind, and soul, and was a faithful member of StoneBridge Church of God, Findlay, Ohio.
Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 pm on Monday, June 25, 2018 at MANN-HARE-HOENING Funeral Home, 407 N. Countyline St., Fostoria. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home at 10 am on Tuesday with an hour of visitation prior to the service. Burial will follow in Weaver Cemetery, Bloom Township, Ohio.
