Obituary for Rosemary I. Liddle

Rosemary I. Liddle, 71, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 30, 2018 at Northcrest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Napoleon, Ohio. She was born on October 3, 1946 to Richard and Bina (Mitchell) Spitler of Napoleon. On November 18, 1988 she married Gene Liddle, who survives. Rosemary worked for Strydel of Styker, Ohio as a Motan Operator. She worked with them for 30 years, up until closing of the business. She then worked for Lowes in Defiance as a cashier and later retired. Rosemary enjoyed reading. She was a very simple person and mostly kept to herself. She will be dearly missed by those who knew her.
Rosemary is survived by her husband, Gene Liddle; children, John Bish and Sondra (Mark) McDowel; step-children, Kenneth Liddle, Matt Liddle and Erin (Justin) Allen; grandchildren, West, Brandon, Alex, Ginevra, Dusty, Isaiah, Preston, Lilly and Ethan; great-granddaughter, Harper. She is also survived by her mother, Bina Spitler and siblings, Terri (Jim) Mt. Castle, Ruth Bassett and David Spitler.
She is preceded in death by her father, Richard Spitler and siblings, Leonard Spitler, Stan Spitler, Doug Spitler, Beverly Spitler and Pat Degler.
Visitation for Rosemary will take place on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Walker-Hoening Mortuary (333 W. Main St.) of Napoleon. Funeral Services will immediately follow at the funeral home. Memorials in memory of Rosemary may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
