She was born October 2, 1956 in Fostoria to the late Philip and Lila Lee (Chalfin) Frisch. She married John Mathias Weber on January 25, 1975 at St. Wendelin Catholic Church and he survives in Fostoria.

Also surviving are five children, Joseph (Veronica Coleman) Weber, Columbus, Thomas Weber, Columbus, James Weber, Philadelphia, PA, Catherine (Brian) Mix, Kettering and Patrick (Melissa) Weber, Fostoria; six grandchildren, Caleb McKenna, Christopher Mix, Carolyn Mix, Anna Mix, Andrew Mix and Alexander John Weber; siblings, Marcia (Tom) Havey, Cicero, IN, Philip (Sharon) Frisch, Fostoria, Jeannine (Alan) Aufdencamp, Fostoria, Michael (Sue) Frisch, Fostoria, Laurie (Joe) Steyer, Bowling Green and Tony (Sharon) Frisch, Fostoria. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Connie Daniels.

Teresa was a member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church where she was a Eucharistic Minister and a 1974 graduate of St. Wendelin High School. She was a dedicated wife, married for 43 years to her high school sweetheart, her first and only love. She was a loving mother and proud grandmother was a beautiful spirit with a soul purer than most. She was known for her love of gardening and flowers and enjoyed being near water. Her love of life and the changing seasons gave rise to her varied passions which included mushroom hunting in the spring, gardening in the summer, raking leaves in the fall and sledding in the winter.

Teresa was a very athletic person winning 5K races in her age group several times. She was a bicycle enthusiast and had an affinity for health and fitness. She was known as being a fashionista and her beauty is captured in countless photographs. Teresa loved to travel, in particular to large cities including a recent trip to San Francisco, and because of her love of the finer arts on Broadway, many, many trips to New York City. Also, she regularly enjoyed antiquing art glass in her travels.

In the earlier years, Teresa worked for several different retailers eventually working for Barb Marley for a period of 25 years. Her stewardship involved teaching in the public school systems, the “I Can Do It” Program through Camp Fire Girls of America. Most recently, she was a docent and recording secretary for the Glass Heritage Gallery - a position that she held for over 15 years. Also, she co-chaired the 1992 Victorian Home Tour for Habitat for Humanity. This and other stewardship throughout her lifetime speak well to her belief in the importance to serve. Teresa’s beautiful spirit and love for life remains most cherished by her loving children and devoted husband.
