We the family of Kathy Lynn Emmons, wish to thank Hoening Funeral Home for the lovely funeral for our sister, daughter, and aunt. Terri took care of the details and helped us with all the arrangements. He did a wonderful job and gave her the burial she deserved. Thank you so much for the care. The release of the dove in kathys memory was wonderful. The service was beautiful and we will remember all of it. Once again thank you all for your compassion and your wonderful care. Although my husband had been in declining health for many years, we had made no plans for our burial other than the choice of burial sites. When that time came our family choose Hoening Funeral Home in Fostoria, although our family is in Gibsonburg. We are very satisfied with the services provided by Hoening Funeral Home, a family owned facility that understands "family" and remain courteous, caring professionals. They are cooperative, guiding, and Terry works with the wishes of the family. The service was one of dignity and caring. The deceased was treated with great respect by Terry, Kevin and others from the time of the removal to interment. I would ask nothing more for my loved one than the service provided by the Hoenings.

The Howard/Kintz/Ochs families have been customers of the Hoening Funeral Home since they arrived in Fostoria in 1963. I believe, my grandfather, Fred Kintz, was Tom and Connie's first funeral. My grandfather died in Pontiac, Michigan and Tom went to Michigan and brought him back to Fostoria for the visitation, funeral and burial at Tiffin, St. Mary's cemetery. They have since made funeral arrangements for my grandmother, Fayette Howard, my parents Mary and Paul Kintz, and several of my aunts and uncles. Our family has always been pleased with the loving care, professionalism and the sensivity that Tom, Connie, Terry and Barbara have always given us and our friends. I would highly recommend their services to anyone who would need their services in preparing the body for interment.
