Dorothy L. Collins, 81, of Napoleon, Ohio passed away peacefully on Monday, January 7, 2019 at her home. She was born on May 10, 1937 to Shelby and Bessie (Sadler) Goodman of Louisville, KY. On December 13, 1965 she married the love of her life, Dewey Collins, who preceded her in death on October 24, 1994.
Dorothy was a homemaker and enjoyed every moment of it. She was a simple person who was known for her wonderful sense of humor. She loved spending time with her family. She especially looked forward to spending time with her grandchildren and taking them to the park.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Gina McCoy of Malinta, Deborah (Terry) Wulff of Malinta, and Christy (Jon) Rohrs of Napoleon; grandchildren; Cody Rohrs, Kelsey Wulff, Alexis Wulff, Haley Wulff and Katelyn Rohrs; great-grandchildren, James Rohrs, Leyana Rohrs and Victoria Rohrs. She is also survived by her siblings, Bennie Lyons, Mary Stella, Betty McCoy, Ruth Compton and Darlene Smothers, all from areas of Kentucky.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Shelby and Bessie (Sadler) Goodman and siblings, Lourine Bohannon, Luester Stevens and Raymond Goodman.
A Memorial Gathering in Dorothy's memory will take place on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Walker-Hoening Mortuary (333 W. Main St.) of Napoleon from 6pm to 7pm. A Celebration of Life Service will immediately follow at the at 7pm at the funeral home. Pastor Chip Bullock officiating. Memorials may be made to the family under the care of Walker-Hoening.
