Kenneth R. Harris was 56 years old, born to Dorothy "Dottie" & Kenneth William on October 29, 1961 in Boston, Mass. Kenny departed an untimely death at Toledo Hospital on November 16, 2017 after an illness. Kenneth attended middle school and high school in the Boston area school system.
Kenny worked good with his hands. Kenny enjoyed spending time with family and friends He enjoyed doing things with his hands such as painting, drawing, landscaping, and cooking. Kenny also liked fishing with his friends, and playing different kinds of games (Keno), slots games in his spare time. Kenny loved chatting with his family and friends, always willing to leave you his last words of advice to you. As a young man, Kenny loved working for the carnival. Many years ago, loved telling anyone who liked to listen about all the stories, about traveling around the world, also about the carnival games, about some of the tricks to win or not.
Kenny was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy "Dottie" Mingoes and father, Kenneth William; grandparents, Cynthia (Oliveira) and William M. Harris Sr.; and Auntie Theresa Morris, and "Sistah" Constance Breeden.
He leave to cherish his memories, his significant other, Shellisa Smith; one son, Terry Patterson; one brother, Jayson (Elaine) Carter of Brockton, MA; nephews, Javan Carter, Joel Carter, Jorden Carter, Elijah James Carter; aunts, Patricia J. Smith and Cynthia L. Harris of Boston, MA, Linda M (William) Henderson of Pensacola, FL; Rita A. Harris and Rosalyn J. Harris of Boston, MA, Mrs. Eleanor F. (John) Jones of Milton, MA.; uncles, William M.(Karen) Harris Jr. of Fayetteville, GA, Tipp J. (Dorothea) Harris of Dorchester, MA., Richard D. (Zilphia) Harris of Richmond, VA., and Walter E. Harris of Boston, MA. He also leaves to mourn a maternal aunt, Mrs. Eleanor Walker of Boston, MA.; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many friends.


With sincere appreciation , we wish to thank Toledo Hospital, our many family and friends for their expressions of kindness during our bereavements for our loved one. A special thanks to Shirley Houston for her guidance through this time of need.
