Obituary for Margaret "Eileen" McMahon

Margaret "Eileen" McMahon, 78, of Napoleon, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 7, 2018; in her sleep, with her daughter right by her side, at Genacross Lutheran Home of Napoleon after battling lung cancer. Eileen was born to Arthur Herbert and Mary Hazel (Richards) Norris on April 16, 1939. Eileen married Charles "Onward" McMahon and they shared many great years together. Charles preceded her in death on March 24, 2008.
Eileen enjoyed looking at and growing flowers in her garden. She liked to watch TV and cheer on the Steelers. Eileen was known for being very protective of her family and would do anything for them. This was especially the case with her and her sister, Morene, when they were in grade school together. The one thing Eileen loved doing the most was getting to spend time with her family. She was loved by all who knew her and will be dearly missed.
Eileen is survived by; her children, Dave McMahon, Brenda (Tom) Lynch and Mark (Tina) McMahon; Six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and siblings, Morene Bibbee and Calvin (Betty) Norris. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her loving parents, beloved husband, Onward McMahon, cherished nephew, Bruce Bibbee and caring brother-in-law, Doc Bibbee.
Services for Eileen were held privately. The family is under the care of Snyder-Wesche-Hoening Funeral Home of Napoleon. Memorials in Eileen's memory may be made to Genacross Lutheran Home of Napoleon or to the Henry County Hospice Center.
